About Me
My name is Sydney Young, I am currently an advertising major at the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University. In this portfolio, I have shared some of the best work I have done so far.
Being able to communicate visually has been something I have learned and is a passion of mine. I have enjoyed the work I have done and appreciate the effort and intent that goes into making each of these projects. Throughout my time in college, I have had the opportunity to find my passions, whether that is in the classroom with my professional passions, or outside the classroom fulfilling my passions. I am someone who cares deeply about people and loves to make connections and build relationships. I am also a hard worker, putting everything I have into the work I have done. I enjoy writing, creating, and being free to express my passions.

I started at Washington State University following my high school graduation in 2020. I am currently a senior studying Strategic Communication and Advertising at the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication and plan to graduate in May of 2024.
Important Classes I've Taken
Women, Gender, Race, and Sexuality Studies 101, 210, and 300.
Having taken multiple classes in the realm of diversity, I have developed the knowledge and education to prepare me for our society's complexities surrounding these areas. I believe these teachings are crucial to our understanding of each other and being compassionate and kind towards any individual, no matter their outward appearance.
